AUDITION AT MOTIVE THEATRICS

Motive Theatrics is excited to welcome new and returning performers to join our upcoming productions! We invite actors of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, body types, and abilities to audition. Theatre is for everyone, and our casting reflects that belief. All audition opportunities will be listed here as they become available.

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Step into a world of pure imagination! We’re seeking talented performers of all ages to bring Roald Dahl’s beloved story to life in this magical new musical.

HOW TO AUDITION

All auditions for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be submitted by video.

 

Please provide:

  • One musical theatre song (32 bars) in the style of the show 

  • Optional: One short monologue (60–90 seconds)

  • Optional: A short dance clip in any style.

 

Upload your video(s) to YouTube, Google Drive, or Vimeo and include a shareable link in your audition form.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Audition Submission Deadline: October 3, at 11:59 PM

  • Dance Call: October 4 at 11:00 AM or 6:00 PM

  • Callbacks (by invitation): October 4, October 5, October 6

  • Rehearsals Begin: November 2 2025

  • Performances: December 27 - January 4
