Xander is a dynamic performer and choreographer lighting up the Portland theatre scene! His artistic journey includes standout roles in productions such as Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn as Ted Hanover, Something Rotten and Matilda The Musical at Lakewood Theatre Company, and West Side Story and Mamma Mia! at Stumptown Stages. When he's not on stage, Xander is behind the scenes, choreographing hit shows like Head Over Heels, High School Musical, Frozen Jr, and Mary Poppins Jr.


With over 15 years of performing arts experience and 8 years dedicated to theatre education, Xander's approach is centered on self-discovery, empowerment, and creative excellence. He brings a wealth of dance expertise, specializing in jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary styles. Xander's classical voice training from VoxNorthwest complements his dynamic dance skills, creating a well-rounded foundation for his artistic endeavors. His time as a Lead Teacher at Northwest Children's Theater and Performing Arts Lead at Willowbrook Arts Camp saw him directing, choreographing, and nurturing the next generation of performers.


Xander’s vision for Motive Theatrics is all about bringing the magic of theatre into the modern age. He’s driven by a love for music, dance, and storytelling, aiming to create theatre that connects with today’s audiences and inspires future artists.
